Consent to process health information

Vytal Path stores and processes health information you choose to provide or import so it can provide the features you select, including health organization, dashboards, reminders, summaries, trackers, connected-health features, caregiver access, report sharing, emergency information, and AI-assisted features.

By providing the health-information consent requested by the product, you authorize this processing. You are not required to provide every category of health information; the information needed depends on the features you choose to use.

Sensitive categories

Some categories, including menstrual-cycle and reproductive-health information, may receive additional protection under applicable consumer-health or privacy laws. Where separate consent is required, Vytal Path will request it separately. This information is not sold and is not shared with advertisers for targeted advertising.

Connected information

If you connect a supported health-record, patient-portal, wearable, fitness, or other health-data service, information you authorize that service to provide becomes part of your Vytal Path information and is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Withdrawal and deletion

Where the product provides consent controls, you may withdraw consent for future collection or processing covered by that consent. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already stored. Use the applicable deletion controls or account deletion to request removal, subject to the Data Retention Policy and any retention required by law.

Security

Vytal Path protects health information using the safeguards described in the Security Statement. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and residual risk remains whenever information is stored or transmitted electronically.
