Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Vytal Path ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered personal health management platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information (name, email, date of birth, phone number)
- Health information you choose to enter or upload, including conditions, medications, allergies, lab results, vitals, and appointments
- Data synced from connected Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
- Billing information, processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe
- Communications you send us, and messages exchanged with the AI Health Coach
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Vytal Path service, including generating personalized health insights, sending appointment and medication reminders, processing subscription billing, and providing customer support. We do not sell your personal or health information.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted providers to operate Vytal Path: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS and verification), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI Health Coach functionality). Each provider only receives the information necessary to perform its function and is contractually obligated to protect it.
SMS Communications
If you opt in to receive text messages from Vytal Path, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Your mobile number is used solely to send you the messages you've requested — such as account, appointment, and medication reminders — and is not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text HELP to any Vytal Path message for help, or reply STOP at any time to opt out.
Data Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored using industry-standard security practices. Access to health information within our systems is restricted to what's necessary to operate the service.
Your Rights and Choices
You can access, update, or delete your health information at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your data from our active systems, including notification and device-sync records.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Children's Privacy
Vytal Path is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
